About the Solenur Public Charitable Trust
Solenur Charitable Public Trust is a public charitable organization established with the primary objective of serving economically weaker, rural, and underprivileged sections of society. The Trust operates in the fields of education, health care, social unity, and promotion of peace, with a focus on sustainable and inclusive social development.
The Trust was founded by Mrs. Nurnihar Bibi.The name “Solenur” has been adopted in remembrance of Late Mr. S. K. Soleman, husband of Mrs. Nurnihar Bibi, whose values and lifelong commitment to social welfare constitute the guiding principles of the Trust.
Late Mr. S. K. Soleman was known for his honesty, integrity, and dedication to social reform. He consistently worked towards maintaining communal harmony and promoting ethical and peaceful coexistence within the community. He strongly believed that access to education and health care are essential components of meaningful social transformation.

How to apply?
To apply for the Solenur Public Charitable Trust, the eligibility criteria includes being a resident of West Bengal, achieving the minimum cut-off marks in Class 12, and having a family income under the specified limit. However, exceptionally meritorious candidates who need the scholarship will be provided with the assistance on the Trustees’ discretion.
Submit your application online or offline with the required documents before the deadline. Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview, and after selection by the Selection Committee, the scholarship will be disbursed.
